- Postal Assistant – Circle Office aur Regional Offices ke liye
- Postal Assistant – Post Office ke liye
- Sorting Assistant – Railway Mail Service (RMS) ke liye
Kul 85 tentative vacancies hain vacancy year 2026 (01.01.2026 se 31.12.2026) ke liye.

Eligibility Criteria
Sirf West Bengal Circle ke eligible departmental officials apply kar sakte hain. Postal Accounts Office ya Wing ke officials is exam ke liye eligible nahi hain. Eligibility 01.01.2026 ke basis par dekhi jaayegi.
Category A (Pehle consider kiya jaata hai):
- Level 3 mein 3 saal ki regular service, ya
- Level 2 mein 5 saal ki regular service (Level 1 service bhi count hogi), ya
- Level 1 mein 5 saal ki regular service
Category B (Sirf tab consider hoga jab Category A mein enough candidates nahi honge):
- Level 1, 2 ya 3 mein kul 8 saal ki regular service, jisme GDS service bhi shamil hai
- Agar 17.06.2022 se pehle GDS service thi, toh sirf 5 saal kaafi hai
Ek important baat – eligibility TBOP, BCR ya MACP financial upgradation se nahi dekhi jaayegi, balki substantive post aur actual pay level se dekhi jaayegi.
How to Apply
Yeh exam offline mode mein hoga. Koi online application nahi hai. Aapko prescribed format Annexure-I mein application form bharni hogi aur apne Divisional Office ya Controlling Unit ke through submit karni hogi. APS candidates apni application directly concerned Division/Unit ko bhejenge.
Form ke saath Annexure-III mein apni cadre aur division preference zaroor likhein. Allotment merit-cum-preference basis par hogi.

Paper-I – Written Exam (MCQ)

- Bilingual (Hindi aur English)
- Do parts hain – Part A aur Part B (50-50 marks)

Part B mein:
- General Awareness (Geography, Civics, Indian Culture, GK)
- Basic Maths (BODMAS, Percentage, Profit-Loss, SI, Average, etc.)
- Reasoning aur Analytical Ability
Paper-III – DEST (Data Entry Skill Test)
- 15 minutes, 25 marks
- 1000 key depressions computer par
- Sirf qualifying nature ka hai – merit mein marks add nahi honge
- VH candidates ko DEST nahi dena hoga

Merit sirf Paper-I ke marks se banti hai. DEST qualify karna zaroori hai lekin uske marks merit mein nahi judenge.

- Exam mein koi books ki madad nahi milegi
